Absolute Press and Printing Limited, publishers of the independent SoundBite Online Newspaper, is an established media enterprise in Nigeria with its Corporate Headquarters in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

Article of Faith

We have a vision to impact society positively by publishing credible, factual and evidence-based news in a mature, measured and moderated style that promotes peace, unity, order and stability in the country anchored on rationality, professionalism and best practices.

We have a primary commitment to promoting the sovereignty, security, stability and territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Nigeria whose constitutional responsibility is to protect and defend the citizen in line with the principles and tenets of individual liberty, fundamental rights and free enterprise.

It is also the duty of the State to intervene reasonably in the economic, social and commercial life of the nation to mitigate the unsavory effects of free enterprise particularly where citizens’ rights to explore and exploit labour and capital endangers access of other citizens to basic life. We shall promote the equal protection and liberty of all citizens under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Our core mission is to contribute to building enduring a legacy for the political, social, economic, religious and cultural welfare and well being of the Nigerian people towards promoting the values and essence of the Nigerian nation to translate to its all-round development.

As an independent and commercial privately-owned newspaper, we owe no allegiance to any political party, ethnic nationality or interest group except our unalloyed support to and unapologetic bias for a pan-Nigerian philosophy which reinforces our conviction in the unity, indivisibility and indissolubility of the nation that encourages us to provide a veritable platform to interrogate alternative views, opinions and positions, subjecting same to rigorous and healthy debate without crossing the national red line thereby enriching governance and the general living standards of the Nigerian people.

We shall make no pretense about speaking truth to power, knowing that avoiding the risk that comes with it forms part of the reasons why some believe that nothing seems to work in certain affairs of the nation but we are convinced that the country is work-in-progress. We however hold it to be true that speaking truth to power is two-dimensional, i.e, telling the government what should be known and also telling the governed what should be done.
